Inverters are not only used for supplying the electricity to household appliances but also used in the vehicle for running AC devices on the road. Mostly, car inverter comes with 12 volt pure sine wave inverter charger for charging battery of the inverter. Sometimes, your inverter stops working so you are not able to get sufficient AC current in the wires and the application for running easily.
What are the common reasons when inverter stops working?
Defective power switch – if your inverter has a defective power switch then your inverter will not turn on. So, you should unplug the power inverter and plug in some other applications and turn on the application to see its working. If the inverter is not working then you should change the power switch.
Battery not connected- one of the most common problems in the inverters is disconnected batteries. If you check and see that the battery is not connected then connect it and turn on the inverter for charging the battery and getting the sufficient power supply.
Terminals of battery are rusted– pure sine inverter is connected with the battery terminal. Rusty terminals are also responsible for the poor working and not working of the inverters. If you find that the terminal is corroded then you should clean it with dry cloth and put them back again for turning on the inverter. If the problem does not solve then you should check other parts of the inverter.
Dead battery – after trying all the solutions if your inverter is not working then you should check the battery of your inverter system. If the battery is too old and weak then you should replace it with a new battery. If the battery of your inverter is not too old then you should charge it for running electricity. In case of the faulty battery, you need replacement because it can also affect the inverter system’s working.
